Love coming here. A good place for fishing, swimming, and boating. Even some areas for camping, though not exactly off the beaten trail like the kind of camping I prefer. Nice area for peaceful drives or just sight seeing. Also some decent walking trails with nice views of the lake.

I grew up in the area and have many good memories of the lake. Like everyone we reminess on our childhood excursion that gave us real nature. Great place to camp and fish or just hang for the day.

We arrived on a Friday and left on Sunday. We had a great time at this lake. We stayed at Hickory campgrounds. Park was clean and well maintained. Restrooms on our end of the campsites are good! A lot of friendly people ! We will revisit this lake!
